Hello, I'm Alison
As a civil celebrant, I have the privilege of helping people mark some of life's most important moments – from joyful weddings and naming ceremonies to heartfelt farewells and memorials. What I love most about my work is getting to know the people behind the occasion and creating ceremonies that are rich with personality, meaning and connection.
I'm a warm, creative and compassionate storyteller who believes every life, every love story and every milestone deserves to be celebrated in a way that feels authentic and unforgettable. Whether your vision is traditional, contemporary, nature-inspired or wonderfully unique, I would be delighted to help bring it to life, perhaps add a little pizazz and sparkle, but always with a final ceremony full of love and warmth, reflecting those it is centred upon.
I am located, as above, on the Suffolk/Norfolk border in the UK. However, I will travel elsewhere if required, including abroad, so do contact me to discuss, if this is one of the first questions you might have for me.
Magical Ceremonies
Choosing a celebrant gives you the freedom to create a ceremony that is entirely personal, meaningful and reflective of the people at its heart. Unlike more traditional or prescribed services, a celebrant-led ceremony can be tailored to your story, values, beliefs and wishes, whether you are celebrating a wedding, welcoming a child, honouring a loved one, marking a new chapter in life or saying goodbye to a cherished pet. From the wording and music to symbolic rituals and location, every detail can be shaped around what matters most to you, creating a memorable and authentic experience that simply couldn't belong to anyone else.
In the UK there are certain restrictions, specifically around Wedding ceremonies, that can impede your creativity and restrict which elements you wish to include. With a ceremony curated especially for you by your chosen celebrant, you can have all the simplicity, classic details or full-on bells and whistles that make it joyful and truly yours.
I will work with you and incorporate what you wish for, not inform you of the do's and don't's and restricted timeframes....it's as simple as that.

Incorporating creativity, joy and love for a moment-pinching celebration or curating a compassionate service, which delights in the remembrance and meaningful stories of a loved one, is what I am here for, and if you like something different or 'outside the box', then you're definitely in the right place! We can do traditional too, but creating a ceremony that fits your style and personalities is what will shine through rather than sticking to a style that simply isn't yours.
